My projects
Inktober
A project for a Art.titude, my extra curricular in Republic Polytechnic.
An October filled with drawing prompts for 31 days, collation for posting and engaging the online platform of Instagram. An initiative by Art.titude, led by the current Committee, trying to make the best out of the Online sessions we have.
Sensory circus
The event was held at Tekka, 27th - 30th December, with 3 booths representing different themes with different objectives; My Emotion Mask, Magneto Friendos, Recycled Herb Planter.

My team's theme was "Recycled Herb Planter" where we projected sustainability through beautifying recyclables before adding a plant into the makeshift pot.

Assisted in preparation as well as leading the facilitation of the event, taking on the role of the assistant leader.

Later on, assisted in becoming one of the Front Of House Ushers.

FIRST SHOT(S) X5
First Shot(s) is a student-run film festival founded in 2017 by RP Lecturer Tzang Merwyn Tong and a team of RP students that had been passed down and continued by students of years to come.
Presented by Republic Polytechnic and School of Technology for the Arts, the student-run First Shot(s) X5 will feature 16 films, 14 of which are student films from Year 1 students from the Diploma in Media Production and Design’s Visual Storytelling module.

As a student from DATM (Arts & Theatre Management), I helped out to set up the area for the physical booth for First shot(s) X5. I assisted in the booth set up, including but not exclusively; Painting of tiles, setting up of truss for bump-in, cabling, hanging of lights, bump-out.

CCSS Mural Painting
The event was held at the Old Folks Home over the days of 13th October 2020 to 16 October 2020.

Assisted in cleaning and refurbishing of the Old Folks Home.

Within the time span of 4 days, we managed to clean and give a makeover to this space. We had help from the ex-committee in the design as we wanted to fit the theme of a kampong. We have prior two weeks to research and create a visual moodboard and to collect the necessary materials.
During this duration, I got the opportunity to make friends with those that were present while doing what I enjoy. Throughout this process we had bonded and some of us are now the current committee leading Art.titude!

Ushering
(The Arts house & Gateway theatre)
There are two shows to which I have been part of the Front Of House Ushering Team.

My current dance instructor (modern dance) was a performer for this piece and it was eye-opening, to say the least. It was mind-blowing the way they had made use of the Arts house dance space and was truly inspiring to all the ushers on the scene.

Imperfect
(researching for info)
This was presented at Gateway Theatre and besides the amazing dance piece brought to the stage, the set piece was astounding. It was a simple construction of multiple mirrors but when the lights started, it was a light show and made the audience feel included like we were part of the performance. It was also a touching piece, each dancer portraying their personalities and having fun on stage.
INKTOBER
The event was held online, 2021 through the month of October

With reference to the Official Inktober page, we took their prompts into our own sketchbooks or any paper we got our hands on. It was a rush chasing the submissions of our current school work while using whatever free time we had, for me it was commuting to school, to doodle.

Records of the event can be located in the Highlights of Art.titude's Instagram handle: https://www.instagram.com/art.titude.rp/
